Marvila is definitely the hippest neighbourhood right now but not long ago, it was an industrial neighbourhood with not much to see for foreigners. Factories and warehouses are now occupied in part by restaurant and coworking spaces. It’s the ideal place to organise events or to spend a Saturday. To see contemporary art, this is also the neighbourhood.

Wander through the streets covered with urban art.

From the architecture on the streets to the contemporary art gallery Underdogs, owned by visual artist Vhils, there's much to look at.

Visit the Tile Museum and relax in the café that features a beautiful interior garden.

This is possibly the most interesting neighbourhood in the city to explore as it's been forgotten for long.

Marvila has some old but architecturally interesting and well-kept factories to gaze at.
